For Architecture Firms
Experienced architectural project leadership, where you need it.
George Street provides senior project leadership and architectural project-delivery support to firms that need experienced capacity within an existing team.
I can step into an active project, understand the background, the players, the firm’s standards and what needs to happen next, then take meaningful responsibility for moving the work forward. That may mean leading day-to-day project delivery, managing clients and consultants, coordinating an internal team, carrying construction administration, or working directly in the project when that’s what the situation requires.
My background spans nearly two decades across architectural practice, construction, project management, technical product development and commercialization, and independent consulting. That range gives me a practical understanding of projects from more than one side of the table.
The objective is not to add another person your team has to manage. It is to add experienced capacity that can take responsibility.
Project Management & Leadership
- Day-to-day project leadership
- Client communication and meetings
- Consultant coordination
- Internal team direction
- Junior staff review and development
- Project planning, schedules and deliverables
- Design and documentation coordination
- Quality-control oversight
- Construction administration and closeout
- Issue, decision and action-item management
- Principal and leadership reporting
Design, Documentation & Project Delivery
My background includes years of hands-on architectural production and project delivery alongside project-management responsibility. I can move between leading the project and working directly within it when the situation requires.
- Design development and project documentation
- Drawing development, coordination, and review
- Revit- and CAD-based project work
- Drawing-set organization and quality control
- Code review and coordination
- Consultant integration and interdisciplinary coordination
- Detail development and technical problem-solving
- Existing-condition and field-information coordination
- Firm standards and documentation requirements
- Permit and agency-response coordination
- Redlines, revisions, and drawing updates
- Senior Job Captain responsibilities when the project requires them
I can work within a firm’s established tools, standards, project-management systems, and workflows, and that is the first priority when those systems are already in place. I also maintain my own independent tools and working methods when a project or team needs additional structure.
Understand how the project operates. Integrate quickly. Work independently once oriented. Communicate clearly. Bring issues to leadership when they actually require leadership attention.
Construction Administration & Closeout
My involvement does not have to stop when the drawings are issued. I can remain engaged through construction administration and closeout, helping the project team protect design intent, keep information moving, and resolve issues as they emerge in the field.
- Submittal and shop-drawing review and coordination
- RFI review, response coordination, and tracking
- Architect, consultant, and contractor coordination
- Construction meetings and action-item follow-through
- Field observations and documentation
- Drawing clarifications and supplemental information
- Design-change coordination
- Punch-list development and tracking
- Closeout documentation and outstanding-item management
- Client communication throughout construction
The role can scale with the project. I can carry day-to-day construction administration responsibilities, strengthen an existing team during a demanding phase, or stay involved as the senior project lead maintaining continuity from design through construction.
Experience Across Project Types
The project type changes. The underlying work often does not.
My architectural experience spans nearly two decades and a wide range of project types, scales, and delivery conditions. That breadth allows me to enter unfamiliar projects without needing the project type itself to be familiar before I can become useful.
Across those environments, I have worked from different positions within the project: architectural production and Job Captain responsibilities, project management, client and consultant coordination, construction administration, field coordination, and independent consulting.
The through-line is understanding the requirements, organizing the people and information around them, identifying what is getting in the way, and keeping the project moving toward delivery.

Engagements Built Around the Need
Structured around the actual need, not a fixed template.
George Street engagements can be structured around a specific project, project phase, workload need, or an ongoing level of outside capacity.
That may mean stepping in to lead an active project, strengthening an existing team during a demanding period, carrying a particular phase of work, or providing recurring senior project support as workload changes.
The scope, responsibilities, expected capacity, and commercial terms are established at the beginning of the engagement. If the need changes materially, we revisit the engagement rather than allowing responsibilities to expand indefinitely without corresponding changes to scope and terms.
Engagements can be hourly, capacity-based, or structured around a clearly defined scope where appropriate.
